The smoke and flame effect feature can be operated via the included Remote Control and the other controls include a run-back timer and heat output of 1-2kW which can be set from the comfort of your own sofa. Additionally, the thermostatic controls allows you to set your fire to produce heat when the room falls to a certain temperature, aiding to retain a certain level of  comfort within your home.
