A key feature of this model is its integrated catalytic converter, which supports complete combustion by converting carbon monoxide into carbon dioxide. This process not only releases additional energy but also ensures lower CO emissions and higher overall efficiency compared to non-catalytic stoves. Thanks to extensive research and development, Burley’s catalytic converters are designed to last over 10,000 hours of normal use without requiring replacement—far surpassing typical industry expectations.

Recognised as some of the cleanest, least polluting stoves in the world, Burley appliances utilise an innovative three-stage combustion system. First, the high-intensity Fireball combustion chamber burns the majority of particulates before they exit the chamber. Remaining particulates then pass through Burley’s unique red-hot stainless-steel soot trap, where they spontaneously combust, generating additional heat. Finally, any residual particles are oxidised in the catalytic converter, resulting in exceptionally low emissions—as little as 0.1 grams per hour. For perspective, a single open fire can produce more particulates than 300 Burley stoves combined.

To maximise efficiency even further, the Launde 9304-C can be room sealed, drawing its air supply from outside the property rather than from the room. This prevents warm indoor air from being lost up the chimney, ensuring optimal performance and heat retention.
