At the heart of the Bradgate 9305-C is Burley’s advanced catalytic converter technology. By converting carbon monoxide into carbon dioxide, the system ensures more complete combustion, releasing additional energy while significantly reducing harmful emissions. Designed by Burley’s expert research and development team, the catalytic converters are engineered to last in excess of 10,000 hours of normal use and unlike many alternatives, do not require routine replacement.

This exceptional performance is achieved through an innovative three-stage combustion process. First, Burley’s high-intensity Fireball combustion chamber burns the majority of particulates before they can exit the chamber. Any remaining particulates then pass through Burley’s unique soot trap—a red-hot stainless steel mesh where particles combust on contact, releasing further energy. Finally, residual particulates are oxidised within the catalytic converter. Together, these processes reduce particulate emissions to an ultra-low 0.1 grams per hour. To put this into perspective, a single open fire produces more particulate emissions than 300 Burley stoves.

For maximum efficiency, the Bradgate 9305-C can be room sealed via an external air supply. This prevents the chimney from drawing warm air from the room, eliminating unnecessary heat loss and ensuring that more heat remains within the living space.
